Animal Quiz: Guess the Animal
Privacy Policy
Last Updated: July 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Animal Quiz: Guess the Animal (“Animal Quiz,” “the app,” “we,” or “us”) handles information. The app is published by softdeveloper and does not require users to create an account.
Information Stored on Your Device
Animal Quiz stores gameplay information locally on your device, including coins, animals solved, level progress, login streaks, daily reward history, saved puzzles, tutorial completion, boosters, sound preferences, and advertising cooldown information. This information is used to provide app functionality and preserve progress. We do not operate a server that receives this gameplay information.
Local information remains on the device until it is cleared by the user, removed by uninstalling the app, or replaced as part of normal app use.
Advertising and Information Processed by Google
Animal Quiz uses Google AdMob, provided through the Google Mobile Ads SDK, to display banner, interstitial, and optional rewarded advertisements. The app uses non-personalized, child-directed advertising settings.
When an advertisement or consent request is made, Google may automatically collect and share the following information for advertising, ad measurement, analytics, security, and fraud-prevention purposes:
- Approximate location: a general location may be inferred from the device IP address. The app does not request precise location permission.
- App interactions: information such as app launches, taps, ad views, video views, and interactions with advertisements.
- Diagnostics: technical information about the performance of the app and advertising SDK, such as launch time, latency, hang rate, energy usage, and error or diagnostic information.
- Device or other identifiers: identifiers such as an App Set ID and other identifiers made available to Google. The app explicitly removes the legacy Android Advertising ID permission and configures child-directed treatment so the Android Advertising ID is not transmitted in ad requests.
- Device and app information: information such as device type, operating system version, app version, language, and advertising SDK version.
This information is shared with Google to deliver and measure advertisements, provide aggregated reporting, maintain service reliability, and prevent invalid traffic, fraud, and abuse. It is not used by Animal Quiz to create personal profiles.
Non-Personalized and Child-Directed Advertising
Animal Quiz configures every Google Mobile Ads request as non-personalized, child-directed, and under the age of consent. The maximum advertising content rating is set to G. These settings are intended to disable interest-based advertising and remarketing and to apply protections for children and users whose age is unknown.
Non-personalized and limited advertisements may still use contextual information, approximate location inferred from an IP address, device or app information, and information needed for ad delivery, measurement, security, and fraud prevention.
Google User Messaging Platform and Consent
Animal Quiz uses the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain and manage privacy choices where required by law. The app requests updated consent information when it starts and does not initialize or request advertisements unless UMP reports that ads may be requested.
UMP requests are marked as under the age of consent. Depending on the applicable law, region, and Google configuration, UMP may display a consent message or apply restricted processing without asking the user to consent.
When Google requires privacy choices to remain available, a Privacy Choices option appears in the app's Settings screen. Users can use this option to review or change available consent choices. A change may affect future advertising requests but does not necessarily prevent all contextual or limited advertisements.
Google's Role
Google processes advertising and consent information to provide AdMob and UMP services. Depending on the processing activity and applicable law, Google may act as a data processor or service provider on our behalf and may also act as an independent data controller as described in Google's terms and privacy documentation. Google receives the advertising data described above; we do not receive information that directly identifies an individual user from AdMob.
Data Security
Information transmitted by the Google Mobile Ads SDK and UMP is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS). No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Data Retention
We retain locally stored gameplay and preference information for as long as it is needed to preserve app progress or until the user clears the app's data or uninstalls the app. Google retains information processed through AdMob, Google Play services, UMP, and Google Forms according to Google's own retention policies, legal obligations, and the user's consent choices. We do not control Google's independent retention periods.
Feedback
Feedback is optional. If a user opens the feedback form, the app launches a Google Form in the device's external browser. Google and softdeveloper may receive the information the user voluntarily enters, such as comments or contact information. Feedback is retained only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, improve the app, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations. Users should not submit sensitive personal information.
Children's Privacy
Animal Quiz is an educational game suitable for children and families. We do not knowingly ask children to provide a name, email address, account, precise location, contacts, photos, or other directly identifying information inside the app. Advertising and consent requests are configured for child-directed and under-age-of-consent treatment for all users.
